Our founder, Barnett Chepenik, launched this company with the intention of delivering health and life insurance in a whole new way. He suspected that people would prefer to work with a company that did more than just write policies. He imagined that what clients really wanted were creative strategies and customized services. And he was right.
Barney’s service-centered approach inspired trust and confidence among clients, who quickly began seeking financial guidance, retirement planning advice, and investment services from the man they knew they could count on. In 1999, Barney’s son Jason, an established financial planner and securities trader, joined the team, and the company was soon providing new services to their decades-old clients and attracting new clients from across the country.
As the needs of Chepenik’s clients continued to grow and evolve, so did the firm, expanding to include specialists in key areas such as financial planning and investments, health insurance, life insurance, and health and welfare planning.
Today, Chepenik Financial is a provider of corporate retirement, corporate health care, and individual investment planning services. By working closely and ethically with our clients every day, our team remains true to Barney’s original vision – to go beyond just writing policies, and to establish true client partnerships based on mutual trust.
